Stan told us that Dennis Liggett is our demonstrator at our next Symposium. The dates are September 30th and October 1st. There were lists of proposed topics to have at our

Symposium, that might change but it is a start. Members could start signing up soon so can start getting an idea where we are at for numbers.

Stan asked Jane K. to make some 4x6 cards as hand outs to make it a little less expensive then our Brochures. There was a motion and seconded and voted to give Jane $50.00 for ink and paper costs.

We will be having a booth at the Fair this year and we will need members to man it. A sign-up list was handed out a second time to cover all the shifts. We could use more

members to help.

High School classes: Classes are finished for the year.

There will be a Demo at Ace Hardware on Zimmerman Trail on Saturday June 17 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You can bring pieces to show or sell. Stan told us that he would be

donating a table to the club, but we could use at least one more for the demo. Martin R said he would donate some laminated wood pieces for the demo.

We have a total of 3 bowls for next years “Souper Bowl” so far, you can bring in bowls any time. The more the better.

Stan mentioned that we are looking for flat screen TV's to replace ours that died. They need to be 42” or bigger and cost around $100.00 or so. If you see any or know of any

give Stan a call.

If you need a new members list call Leona. The updated ones are now finished.

PROGRAM: George O. showed us how he goes about processing Turquoise for his shop. He told he uses a lot of Turquoise and it is a lot less expensive processing his own. He starts by buying his in rock form, then using a hand rock breaker to make smaller pieces. Then pours it through several different size screens to get a verity of different sizes. He then puts the different sizes into small jars. Thank you George the idea and know how.

PROGRAM: No program scheduled for next month as of end of meeting.
