Think About Turning Today!

December 2013 President’s Message:

Tis the Season to be Jolly and to rejoice that a savior is born! This has indeed been a good year for the Yellowstone Woodturners. Members have enjoyed working together, turning out lovely wood creations, gathering wood, cutting blanks, and improving their turning skills. We have also enjoyed our use of the Roaring 20’s Club House as a meeting space. All in all, 2013 has been a successful club year.

And now we need to up our game in planning the 2014 year. If you have suggestions, please get them to our club officers.

Christmas Meeting and Potluck, December 11, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the South Side Senior Citizens Center

Please put our December meeting on your calendar. It will be a meeting for all your family (bring your spouse and kids and anyone else interested in turning), will be held at the Senior Citizens Center at 6:00 on Wednesday evening, and bring your best turned pieces for “show and tell.” Also bring a salad or a main dish or a desert. The club will provide a cooked Christmas ham. And a good time will be had by all.

Dr. Van
